WhatsApp Tests New Feature to Search Messages by Date

WhatsApp is reportedly testing a new feature that will make it easier for users to find old messages. The feature, which is currently available to a limited number of beta testers on WhatsApp web 2.2348.50, allows users to search for messages by selecting a specific date from a calendar.
This new feature can be particularly useful for users who need to find old conversations or messages from a specific day. To use the feature, users simply need to tap on the new calendar icon in the search bar, and then select the date they are looking for. WhatsApp will then display all of the messages that were sent or received on that date.
The “Search Messages By Date” feature is currently only available on WhatsApp web. However, it is possible that it will be rolled out to WhatsApp for Android and iOS in the future.
In addition to the “Search Messages By Date” feature, WhatsApp is also reportedly working on a number of other new features, including the ability to edit sent messages, and the ability to use multiple WhatsApp accounts on the same device.
These new features are part of WhatsApp’s ongoing efforts to improve the user experience and make the app more useful for its users.
