Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Launch Date Confirmed

In its recent Galaxy S series releases, Samsung incorporated its ISOCELL GN5 50MP sensor for the Galaxy S22 and S22+, followed by the 50MP GN3 sensor for the Galaxy S23 and S23+ models. The upcoming Galaxy S24 and S24+ are anticipated to continue with the same 50MP sensor.

However, a credible tip from @Tech_Reve, known for reliable Samsung rumors, suggests a shift in camera sensor choice for the Galaxy S25 and S25+ models, with a preference for Sony sensors.

As of now, specific details about the Sony camera sensor have not been disclosed, given that the S25 series launch is more than a year away. Alongside this potential change, Samsung is rumored to be developing a new 200MP 1-inch ISOCELL sensor for the S25 Ultra. This sensor is expected to feature 0.8µm pixels, dual-pixel autofocus, and in-sensor crop zoom.

Another notable rumor circulating around the Galaxy S25 series involves the Exynos 2500 chipset. The chipset is projected to include a 10-core CPU manufactured on Samsung’s 3nm node. As developments unfold, further insights into the camera specifications and other features of the Galaxy S25 and S25+ will likely emerge.
