Operating as NFS, this subdivision is set to offer a spectrum of solutions specifically designed for the United States, encompassing IP Routing, Optical Networking, Microwave, 5G, Private Wireless, and Tactical Private Wireless technology.
Emphasizing the significance of this strategic move for Nokia’s future in the defense sector, Tommi Uitto, President of Mobile Networks at Nokia, highlighted its pivotal role.
To spearhead this initiative, Mike Loomis has been appointed as the President of Nokia Federal Solutions. In a recent press release, Loomis expressed that the establishment of this dedicated entity is geared towards providing a localized presence, advanced technology, and specialized expertise. He further emphasized that NFS represents a tangible investment in fortifying the partnership between Nokia and the United States.
