Instagram is currently testing a new feature called “My Week” that allows users to save their stories on their profile for the entire week. The feature is still in the testing phase and is not yet available to all users.
With My Week, users can select specific stories to keep visible on their profiles for seven days. This would give users more control over how their stories are seen and allow them to share more content with their followers.
If you are one of the lucky users to get the feature, you will see a new option to add your stories to My Week when you share them. Once you add a story to My Week, it will appear on your profile as a circle with a play button.
Your followers can then tap on the circle to watch your story. Stories in My Week will play automatically, but viewers can pause, rewind, and fast-forward them as needed.
It is unclear when My Week will be rolled out to all users. However, it is likely to be released in the near future. In the meantime, users can continue to share their stories to their feed or Highlights.
Benefits of My Week
There are several benefits to the My Week feature:
More control over stories: Users have more control over how their stories are seen. They can choose which stories to save for a week and which ones to keep only for 24 hours.
Share more content: Users can share more content with their followers by saving their stories for a week. This is especially useful for businesses that want to share their brand story with potential customers.
Keep stories visible longer: Users can keep their stories visible for longer than 24 hours. This is a good way to make sure that their followers see important stories.
Overall, the My Week feature is a good way for users to share more content with their followers and to keep their stories visible for longer.
